Coloring brings peace
I love coloring. I love coloring with glitter gel pens. It makes me happy and accomplished.
I get the absolute perfect joy when I see my finished work. it glitters and I love it. When I was in high school in Sioux Falls, SD, there was a coloring contest in my math class for an extra credit. It was a picture of a Leprechaun for St. Patrick's day. I did my best to color and I won the contest. I was so happy. but at the same time, I felt guilty because I didn't need extra credit in my math class.
Another project I really enjoy is bullet journaling. it just makes me so happy when I make simple spreads with minimal colors. I don't like making my pages busy. it's unnecessary if you ask me. My favorite YouTube, Amanda, does beautiful monthly spreads and weekly spreads and I get so inspired. She is turning 22 and I get so excited when she has a new video on tutorial techniques. I don't think age matters when it comes to being creative. i hope that someday I get to inspire someone with my creative ideas....
I did dandelion paint with a toilet paper, q-tips and a cotton ball. It was so much fun. Very easy and fun. I thought about doing a program for my patrons but I don't think it will work out because it takes maybe 10 minutes to finish. It's nice to try. Right? You can never go wrong with new craft ideas.
